SCRAPPERS
Hibernation

come to focus on the new season.

Soon the warmer sunlight is calling upon us to leave our homes and venture outdoors again to capture moments of new life and the returning colors of spring and summer. We will spend time in our gardens or public parks, walking through nature and enjoying barbeques with neighbors and friends. Equipped with our cameras we will not miss any of the beautiful moments of our children growing up or us growing simply a little older. Like busy bees that collect honey or squirrels that collect nuts; we collect the moments of our lives throughout the next three seasons to preserve them once again.

And when winter returns we will be returning to our homes, with our collection of memories. Beautiful layouts and designs will be created to make each moment special and an everlasting memory. Unlike a squirrel or bear returning to their dens to sleep throughout winter, a scrapper never really sleeps and is busy throughout all four seasons. A scrapper never hibernates and only rests when looking at his own layouts and re-living moments of his life and enjoying them again.

Let us embrace spring with all it colors and new life and appreciate the fact that we are gifted to capture moments of our life and to preserve them for our memories. Let us go out and capture life again in all its colors and beauty. Let us be Scrappers.

With days getting longer and the sun getting stronger we will observe the wildlife returning to the scene, waking up from their long winter hibernation and filling the plains with life again.

Just like bears and squirrels disappeared from our eyes during winter, little time did we spend outdoors, as the weather simply would not allow it. Unlike the squirrels though, we have not been resting and sleeping, but rather keeping very busy with our designs and layouts. Working through the moments of the past seasons, we preserve them in our own creations. The extra long winter nights gave us the additional hours in front of our computers to do all that. But now the time has
