Q:: How did you find out about digital scrapbooking
Brenda::
When my closest friend started Scrapbooking, I knew it wouldn't be long before I dove in head first and tried my hand at it. I told her from the start that I wouldn't be good at it and probably wouldn't stick with it. But just the same, I started collecting all the supplies I needed to give this hobby a good shot. I remember telling her that if this could be done on the computer, I would have a much better chance for success. At the time, neither of us knew of any way of doing it on the computer. Even our Creative Memories consultant wasn't aware of any computer programs for digital scrap-booking. It wasn't long after that that we discovered Shutterfly's photo books. I made one using their page templates and was immediately hooked. That's when the search began in earnest. I googled every term I could think of. Eventually, I found a digital scrapbooking store. One thing led to another, I made my first purchase, my first page and before I knew it, I was addicted. I ended up selling all my traditional scrapbook supplies and haven't looked back.

Q:: How long did it take you to learn the graphic software and where did you learn about it?
Brenda::
In my search for a way to scrapbook on the computer, I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything could be done with a program I already owned, Adobe Photoshop Elements 4. My aforementioned friend bought Elements 5 and picked up the basics quickly. She showed me what she learned and the rest I learned through trial and error and through on line tutorials.

Q:: What is your favorite style at the moment? Why do you choose this style?
Brenda::
I love and admire many styles, but my favorite would have to be the more basic, simple designs. I love the clean, minimalist look, but really I love any page that is well designed, no matter the style.

Q:: How long does it usually take you to complete a layout? How many can you do in a week?
Brenda::
On average, it usually takes a few hours for me to complete a page. I usually make anywhere from 3-5 pages a week, depending on how much time I have available to spend on the computer and how much mojo I have.
