Spring Is
Here!

attempt some new scrapping styles or techniques. Or just try to get creative again if your creativity has been in hibernation.

Here are some things you can do to put some spring in your scrapping!

• Do some spring cleaning and organize your digital supplies. Make some room on your hard drive by tossing some of the items that you are never going to use. Be sure to back up your files (kits, photos and layouts) to DVD or an external drive (or both!).
• Try a new style of scrapping. Get creative and do some extractions or maybe do a page without any photos. Create a fantasy scene or try a more traditional white-space layout. If you’re afraid to break out of your box, then scraplift someone whose pages you drool over.
• Take a walk around your neighborhood and bring your camera. Create a page or a mini-album based on what you find.
• Add some color. Try some new combinations. Think beyond spring pastels and go for bright and bold. Purple is everywhere this spring.
• Try Easter egg shapes. Use ovals or rounded corners on your page.
• Pick some flowers. Let spring blooms – using your own photos or scrapbooking elements – take over your page!
• Dig out your paper supplies and try a hybrid project.
• Make card (with your digital or paper stash) for a friend that celebrates the season.

Spring is all about new beginnings and it’s a great time to try something new. Wouldn’t it make more sense to make resolutions in spring instead of for the New Year. It’s hard to get motivated to start a new exercise routine when there’s snow on the ground. But when it’s spring, we’re ready to clean out closets, work on home repairs, or try to lose a few pounds for swimsuit season.

So why not make a list of spring resolutions – for your home, your crafting or yourself. You can try a new hairstyle, have lunch at that outdoor café you’ve wanted to check out or read a new book. You can also
