Q: What is the inspiration when creating this kit called ‘Purple Day’ for TDS Studio?
MDesigns: The inspiration for this kit comes from my daughter Fiona who just turned 6 years. I wanted a kit that feels sweet and soft for her.
Q: How would you define your style of design at this moment?
MDesigns: I like a mixed medium of realistic and painted objects. I like pages with many elements and staged scenes.
Q: Where do you live? Does it has an influence to your inspiration and type of kits that you produce?
MDesigns: I live in France, close to Paris. My inspirations for my kits come mainly from my children and friends. It doesn't have much of an influence where I live.
Q: How long have you been designing? Why digital scrapbooking?
MDesigns: I'm close to my third year of designing. I am 100% digital, i.e. scrapbooking addict to my computer! [smile] I found out about digital scrapbooking by chance when I saw a link to it in a site. I took to digital scrapbooking immediately and participated in forums. From there, designing came naturally and the rest is history. Designing gives me a sense of power to create and fulfill my desire to keep my children's lives in prints.
Q: Is designing your full time occupation?
MDesigns: Yes, I work everyday in digital scrapbooking related projects. I am passionate about photography and always strive to improve myself.
Q: What was the most fulfilling and rewarding feeling you ever get about your designs?
MDesigns: The most pleasure I have is being able to intergrate my designs with Shabby Pickle Designs store. I have received so much positive responses and fan base for my designs since the beginning of my career with this store. Another thing that makes me proud is when people buy my kits and send me messages of how much they like them.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself and family.
MDesigns: My name is Audrey and I am 32 years old. I live with my partner for 12 years and we have two children - Fiona, 6 years old and Hugo, 4 years old. I am a person who likes peace, sharing and learning. I enjoy long walks in the forest, photography and happiness with my family.
