This talented French designer has a great selection of kits and we are proud to present an exclusive one from her - Sweet Little Dreams. Find out more of this talented artist by reading our short interview with her. Interview has been translated from French to English by Cassel:
Q: What is the inspiration when creating this kit called ‘Sweet Little Dream’ for TDS Studio?
Ninie Designs: What inspired me to create "Sweet Little Dream" is not very original! ;) A few days after the email from Alice, while tidying up my son's room, I stumbled upon a little stuffed white sheep that he had since he was born, and that immediately gave me the idea to create a soft kit, around the night and dream theme.
Q: How would you define your style of design at this moment?
Ninie Designs: I don't think I have a well defined style. I love to try new things (many don't end up anywhere close to what I initially envisioned). But the type of kits I enjoy creating the most is a bit off-the-wall (for example, my kits "Crazy Garden", "My Little Sunshine" or "Crazy Town").
Q: Where do you live? Does it have an influence to your inspiration and type of kits that you produce?
Ninie Designs: I live in France, in a small town called Pithiviers. The inspiration for my kits often comes from my son. But I can also be inspired by a photo, an object (like for this "Sweet Little Dream" kit) where I was inspired by looking at the plush sheep to create a kit around the night and dreams theme. Other than that, I cannot really tell where the inspiration comes from.
Q: How long have you been designing? Why digital scrapbooking?
Ninie Designs: I started digiscrapping during my pregnancy, so that is about 3 years now, due to some health problems associated with my pregnancy. At first, I was only creating layouts, then I wanted to experiment in creating a kit, "just to see", and finally, I got hooked. I create my kits since about 2 and a half years now.
Q: Is designing your full time occupation?
Ninie Designs: I work at home as a daycare worker. Digiscrapping is a way for me to relax. So I spend a ...

.... lot of my evenings and some of the free time that the kids allow me, doing kits. I also have another passion (which has nothing to do with digiscrapping): I love cosmetics!
Q: What was the most fulfilling and rewarding feeling you ever get about your designs?
Ninie Designs: The most rewarding aspect is when I get some mail from customers (either by emails, on Facebook, or on my blog). And when I get a layout made by a customer with my kits, I LOVE it!
Q: Tell us a little about yourself and family.
Ninie Designs: My name is Claire and I am 24. I am a daycare worker at home since 2008. But mostly, I am mom to a little Mathias, who is 2. With my son and my husband (let's not forget our animals, very important!) we live in a little town, in the center of France. I am totally hooked on digiscrap since mid 2008, and I dream to be able to live from that passion.
