A Grape Awakening |

Heather Manning at DigiScrapping has asked TheDailyScrapper to review her new kit called A Grape Awakening. Priced at $5.99, this kit contains 14 pieces of gorgeously crumpled and textured papers with additional 6 cardboard covered ones. Combined with various cardboard cut out elements, flowers, leaves, ribbons, button, glitters... I'll say Wow!! Definitely a good buy. For those who love white space layouts, the papers in this kit are a must have.

I asked Heather why this title for her kit and here's what she wrote back: " Actually, the kit name started out as Blueberry Afternoon. Because of the color scheme. But then as I got going, it didn't look like a Blueberry afternoon to me anymore. The colors just reminded me of Grapes. So, I started looking for ways to play the word grape off of "great". I was talking to one of my CT ladies, Hutchie, and she started throwing out titles with the word Grape in them. And when she said a Grape Awakening, it just stuck. That's what the kit said to me. on a fruit kick right now. :o) My last solo kit before this was Berry-Licious. I think it's because it's summer, and the colors are bright and fun, and it just seems right"

Stephanie: I love this kit so much! The colors are beautiful and I absolutely adore all of the cardboard and flower swirls. I just love cardboard in general, so the papers with the cardboard edges are great!
Joan: I so love the papers in this kit, especially the
Cardboard Covered Papers. The theme was perfect for the subject of my page. It's about my parents'
fight against my father's Lymphoma. I know that my father is not facing this disease alone. You can
see the changes on the three photos, from before my father was diagnosed, then to the
chemotherapy
period, and now. I would consider the leaves and flowers I used from the kit to represent life.
Kirstie: There was a good variety of elements and a large selection of papers.
