Big Photo - Let the Picture Talk

With all the photos we take and stored in our computers, it's sometimes overwhelming on how we will put these photos in a scrapbook layout. But sometimes too, all we need is just one photo to complete a page. If you took multiple shots of one event or subject, pick out what you think is the best one and just use that single photo in your layout. The good thing about it is that the focus is just in this one photo, and it's easier to express the message you want to say. It also makes your layout look less cluttered, and a lot more simple

Description:
My family and I were at a T-Ball cookout one weekend when the temperature outside was reaching well over 100 degrees. The kids and coaches were having a ton of fun with water guns and eventually the water hose itself. My husband was helping the kids fill up the water guns while my youngest, Kaleb, decided he didn't want any part of the action.
I snapped that photo of him trying to shield himself while standing close to his dad for protection and instantly knew I had to scrap it!
Very shortly after, I was RAK'd with the beautiful "Countryside" kit by Natali Designs. As soon as I saw the brick elements in the kit I just knew they would look so good with the wood building background that was in that photo. The kit itself was so beautiful and so easy to work with that the LO was done in about 30 minutes
