creative team member calls at DigiShopTalk daily and sent many applications. My first CT (creative team) was for Scrapbooks Gone Digital in August 2006. I was so proud and had a Lot of fun!!

How does it feel when a designer entrusts her products for you to promote?
sternrakete:
It´s a honor to work for some so talented designers! In the past I sometimes couldn´t believe that the designer wants me! And I`m always so excited when new stuff is coming out and sometimes I don´t know with which one to start first.
TheDailyScrapper:
What do you think makes a good creative team member?
sternrakete:
I think a good CTM (creative team member) always try to create the best layout. I mostly try to use most of the elements of a kit, so all the other scrapper can see what great things are included. I always have to be satisfied with my layout. I could never make a layout only for fulfill the requirements.
Playing the Praise-Game [at DigiShopTalk] is very important too, because some more people take a look at my layout. And, I do some promotions in ISO (in search of) threads or in other ways of advertising.
TheDailyScrapper:
How do you decide which designer you would like to work with?
sternrakete:
I must love her stuff! I browse to the store and look at her designs. I search for some layout’s with her stuff and figure out if it fits with my style. And, I always read the requirements before I apply and decide if it is manageable for me.
TheDailyScrapper:
You may have heard of some designers complaining about their creative team members not performing up to par with the agreement set upon them. What is your opinion?
sternrakete:
Oh yes, really? I always hear that the designers are so happy with their CTMs (creative team members). I always try to do a good job. And, my opinion is, when I cannot fulfill the requirements anymore, I have to change something. Maybe talk to the designers (who are always so appreciative and kind) or leave a CT. I think, that the designers who are not satisfied with her CTM’s could talk to them too.
TheDailyScrapper:
Would you consider working for a new designer?
sternrakete:
Yes, why not? GiselaB was quite new when I started to work for her and at The Digi Chick. We often have the chance to work with new fantastic designers.
TheDailyScrapper:
How do you keep the balance if you need to meet all the requirements by your designers?
sternrakete:
Sometimes when a few of my designers release new stuff, it’s a bit difficult to choose which kit to start with first. But normally, I make layouts in turn. And, I try to make a layout every day.
