Are We "Just" Great Moms?

The kids are already tucked in bed or your husband is taking care of them. The chores of the day are done and it is time to sit down watch some television, read a book and unwind. This describes a typical evening on a typical day for many of us.

However, in the ever- growing world of digital scrapbookers, this is the time that many women around the globe log onto their computers.  They spend hours designing and creating artwork to enhance and preserve their precious memories.  And, in rising numbers, many women have taken this hobby to a new level by creating digital designs to sell online with some even opening their own online shops.

This could be seen as a nice hobby using your digital tablet, drawing out

 

nice designs to enhance memories captured with your camera. But for a lot of women, especially in the United States, where we still find the biggest share of the scrapbookers, there is much more to it than just beautifying family photos. They create, design and sell their creations to support themselves and their families. Many women have left their prominent jobs in the business world, bringing their knowledge and training from studies and career experience online.  They’ve discovered a unique situation that allows them to be home with their children while still engaging in fulfilling work that provides income.

These “business” women do everything any other small or medium sized business would have to do to be successful. They must develop and create a product range, and then follow it with extensive promotional marketing
